The protagonist is Sakura Ouka—a strong but somewhat foolish samurai. In an era of peace, she has no work, and after getting scolded over something silly, she ends up losing her home and weapons.
One day, she helps a child named Suzune who’s in trouble at a red-light district. That encounter sparks the beginning of a journey to revive the Sakura Style together.
The two set their sights on victory in the prestigious “Gozenjiai (Castle Tournament),” aiming to rise once more.
