主人公・田端隆明は、どこにでもいるアイドル好きの24歳の青年。
大学デビューし夜遊びやら、パーティーやら悪いことを覚えたら勉強など手に付かなくなり、大学をあっけなく中退。
ところが楽観的な性格が災いして、どうにか楽に稼げて趣味を生かせるような就職先を探しはじめた。

ある日繁華街の掲示板で、ふと目に留まったのが
「食事つき、部屋つき、週休２日、残業無し」とかかれた地下アイドル劇場の支配人（見習い）の募集広告。
仕事内容は、劇場経営とTEARS（ティアーズ）という専属アイドルグループのスケジュール管理と育成。

これは神様がくれた天職にちがいない。
給料もらいながら、ステージは見放題。
さらにアイドルたちと仲良くなって色々なことを楽しめそうだ。

The main character, Takaaki Tabata, is a 24-year-old young man who loves idols everywhere.
He made his college debut, and when he learned bad things such as nightlife and parties, he couldn’t study, so he dropped out of college.
However, his optimistic personality wrecked him, and he began to look for a job where he could easily earn money and make the most of his hobbies.

One day he suddenly caught my eye on a bulletin board in a downtown area.
